Ralph C. Thomassen, of Flovilla, passed away on March 24, 2021. He was born in Miami, Florida on December 19, 1935. He was a lifetime member of The International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. Everyone knew him as a jokester. He loved to fellowship and at 85 years of age he was a still known to be a ladies man.
Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Dr. Tommy Aman will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Thomassen and sister, Betty Jules. He is survived by his daughters, Paula Campbell (Terry) of Ellenwood, Janet Upton (Ray Helton) of Flovilla, Deborah Groover Winzeler of Fayetteville, Laurie Thomassen (Christopher Wells) of Meansville; son, Ralph Cecil Thomassen (Angela) of Cartersville; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
