A graveside service will be held at Morrow Cemetery on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service beginning at 11 am.

Lonnice Barbara Lawrence Fleming (Jonathan) is the daughter and beautiful baby girl of LaMarcus M. Lawrence and Lynnette Mitchell Lawrence. She was born 4/25/1998 in Atlanta, GA.

Lonnice was unapologetically a daddy’s girl with a take charge spirit and at a very early age she showed herself to be very intelligent and a born leader.  From a young age Lonnice’s father taught her how to repair computers, and so, at the beginning of her work career and as a testament to her strong analytical skills, Lonnice became certified in several network operating systems, encryption tools and firewall software by several hardware manufacturers.  She identified and deconstructed computer viruses; analyzing and mitigating organizational threats. She also worked as an Information Security Engineer; developing, managing and executing datacenter migration plans for security services.

She also demonstrated this strong personality with her family, in high school, her time in the military, and multiple jobs that offered her leadership positions.

During her years in school, Lonnice served as a page for The Georgia State House of Representatives.  She was also a soccer player; playing in her neighborhood soccer association. Lonnice was also a junior technical assistant for her high school computer lab; repairing school issued computers for fellow students and school staff.

She graduated from Forest Park High School in Forest Park, GA May/2016 and joined the military. And upon graduation according to Lonnice at that time, “My long term goal is for me to have a high position job dealing with network security.”

Lonnice's memory will be cherished by her mother, Lynnette Mitchell Lawrence; older brother Taylor A. Lawrence, her paternal grandparents Mr. Johnny D. Lawrence and Ms. Barbara Booker Lawrence and her maternal grandparents Mr. Albert Mitchell Jr. and Mrs. Lonnice Crosby Mitchell, great grandmother Ms. Cassie Parker, aunt Aleanna Williams, Uncles; Sedric and Gavin Lawrence, cousins; Tajia, Anya, and Jamine Lawrence and Nadia Surry, niece Lourdes Lawrence, special friend Jasmine Wright, and numerous other relatives and friends.

She loved to laugh and inspire others.

Lonnice will certainly be missed, but not forgotten.
