Joseph "Joe" Howard McCombs, a tire technician at Sam's Club for many years, passed away on January 29, 2024, in Riverdale, Georgia. Joe, known for his quiet and reserved nature, was a caring and gentle individual who will always be remembered for the immense love he had for his daughter.

Born on June 3, 1970, in Hampton, Virginia, Joe brought joy and happiness to the lives of those around. He had a special place in his heart for his daughter and cherished every moment spent together. Their bond was unbreakable, and the memories they created will forever be treasured.

When he wasn't working, Joe found solace in his hobbies and interests. He was an avid golfer with a deep passion for sports. In particular, he had an unwavering love for the Pittsburg Stealers, cheering them on with enthusiasm and dedication.

His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly becoming a father. Joe embraced parenthood wholeheartedly and dedicated himself to providing love and support to his daughter Lysbeth. His commitment as a father was unrivaled; he nurtured her dreams, guided her through life's challenges, and celebrated her triumphs with pride.

Joe's warm heart touched the lives of many throughout the years. He may have worn a soft-spoken exterior but had an immense capacity for compassion beneath it all. Family was of paramount importance to him as he cherished moments spent with loved ones dearly.

The loss of Joe will be deeply felt by his surviving family members: his wife Leanna McCombs; his daughter Lysbeth McCombs; his mother Joan McCombs; his brother James McCombs; and his nieces, Shelby Thornton, Blythe Vedis, and Macey McCombs. During this difficult time of grief, may they find solace in the memories they shared with him and draw strength from the love he showered upon them.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Robert McCombs, and his aunt, Jean Condo. Although they have left this world, their spirits will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

In remembrance of Joe's life, let us celebrate the kind soul that he was. His gentle nature, unwavering dedication to family, and profound love for his daughter will remain etched in our memories. May we carry his legacy forward by cherishing our loved ones, embracing compassion, and finding joy in the simplest of moments. Joseph "Joe" Howard McCombs, may you rest in eternal peace.
