Larry Courtoy

Hugh "Larry" Courtoy, 81, US Navy veteran, of Morrow, passed away on January 17, 2021. Mr. Courtoy was born in Ashburn, Ga on March 31, 1939 to the late, Harvell Courtoy and Mildred Covington Courtoy. He was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church for over 65 years, a member of the Morrow Masonic Lodge #734, and a member of the Printing Pressman Union - Local 8M. 

Services for Mr. Courtoy will be held at Forest Park United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. He will lie in state at 10:00 am. Mr. Mike Mewborn will be officiating. Interment will follow at Morrow Cemetery.  Anyone is welcome to attend services, but the family requires that you wear a mask and that social distancing is practiced. If you are unable to attend services due to Covid-19 concerns, the family expresses their understanding. 

Mr. Courtoy was preceded in death by his son, David Courtoy.  He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte Gilbert Courtoy; daughter, Teresa Courtoy Bowles of Kennesaw; daughter-in-law, Lori Courtoy; sister, Linda Bridges of McDonough; grandchildren, Paige Courtoy, Zack Bowles, and Talie Bowles, numerous nieces and nephews.
