Constance Romona Toole, affectionately known as Connie, was born on October 13, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia, and passed away peacefully on September 6,2024, in Jonesboro, Georgia. Her life was a testament to kindness, devotion, and tireless hard work, which touched everyone around her.
Connie dedicated numerous years to her career in clerical accounting and billing at McKenney's Heat and Air, where she was recognized for her diligent work ethic and dedication. Her commitment to excellence was matched only by her unwavering desire to support and uplift her family and friends. Connie’s infectious smile and easy-going nature made her a joy to be around; she had a wonderful sense of humor that could lighten the heaviest of days.
Her devotion extended beyond her professional life. Connie was a cherished member of Morrow First United Methodist Church, deeply caring for both her church family and her community. She found great fulfillment in her involvement there and was proud to join the group who crochet for the church’s shawl ministry, pouring her heart into every stitch.
Family was the cornerstone of Connie's life. She is survived by her beloved daughter Erin Toole and son Jason Toole, who were the pride of her life. Connie’s warm and nurturing spirit will be forever remembered by her mother, Faye Kirksey, and brother, Mike Kirksey. She leaves behind a loving family, including aunts Sandra, Phyllis, and Teresa(Mike), uncle Rusty(Carolyn), and many cousins. As well as her brother-in-law, Travis (Kelly) Toole, along with her cherished nephews, Casey and Brayden Toole. Even her loyal cat Jinx will feel the absence of her gentle touch.
Connie was preceded in death by her father, Jack Kirksey Sr, whose legacy lives on through the love and values he instilled in her.
A visitation to honor Connie’s memory will be held on September 10, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors in Morrow, Georgia. This will be followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location, where family and friends will come together to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman who embodied love, laughter, and selflessness in all she did.
Connie’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her, a lasting legacy of warmth and kindness that will never be forgotten.
