It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christine Mosley Bearden, affectionately known as "Chris." Chris was born on March 17, 1939, in South Carolina, and peacefully departed from this world on June 28, 2024, in Stockbridge, Georgia with her daughter by her side.
Christine dedicated an impressive 40 years of her life to working as a Mortgage Underwriter before retiring. Her hard work and dedication in her career touched the lives of many. She was known for being a great provider and for always going above and beyond.
Described as sweet, loving, and caring, Chris had a heart of gold. She loved people unconditionally and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her sense of humor lit up the room, and her laughter was infectious. Chris's generosity knew no bounds, and she would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need.
One of Christine's proudest accomplishments was raising her beloved daughter, Yvette. The bond between mother and daughter was unbreakable – it was always Chris and Yvette against the world. Their close relationship was evident to all who knew them.
In her leisure time, Chris was an avid reader and was a member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed spending time with friends and engaging in various activities.
Chris will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her loving daughter Yvette Elliott and husband Douglas. She also leaves behind her sister Dorothy Williams, nephew Richard Williams and wife Lisa, niece Cathy Cumbee, great-nephews Justin Cumbee, Tanner Williams, Hunter Douglas, Reece Williams and great-great nephew Daniel Cumbee..
Although Christine may no longer be with us in person, her memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known such a remarkable woman. May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished by many.
