John "Billy" William Lamb, Jr.

John "Billy" W. Lamb, Jr., 90, of Stockbridge, passed away on June 24, 2017. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 1:00pm. Mr. Bob Thompson will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends prior to service from 11am-1pm. He was preceded in death by his son, Marion Lee Lamb. He is survived by his daughters, Carole Bowlden(Rod) of Jonesboro and Melissa Thompson(Bob) of Stafford, VA; sons, Gerald D. Lamb(Jan) of Jackson and Tim Lamb of Atlanta; sister, Norma Jean Parker of McDonough, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
