Harry Barnett Bosse

Harry Barnett Bosse, 94, of Morrow, passed away on October 22, 2015 at his home. He was born in Beaumont, Texas to the late William F. Bosse and Annie Barnett Bosse. He graduated from Beaumont High School and the University of Texas at Austin where he received a business degree. He served in the Army in World War II. In 1953, he moved to Atlanta and founded Bosse Concrete Products which produced concrete products to the Southeast for over 40 years. He was a member of North Avenue Presbyterian Church for over 60 years. Services for Mr. Bosse will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1:00pm. Rev. Frank Eldridge will be officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be accepting friends prior to the service from 11:00am-1:00pm. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Melba; son, Dolph Bosse(Peggy); daughter, Beverly Marson(Dan); five grandchildren, Katy Batey, Danny Bosse, Tyler Marson, Keith Marson and Alice Marson.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glenwood Autism and Behavioral Center, Adult Services, 150 Glenwood Lane, Birmingham, AL. 35242.
