Dick Howard, of Stockbridge, passed away on July 29, 2015. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 11:00am. Bro. David McCoy will be officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8pm. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Howard; son, Randy Johnson; brothers, Mayes Howard and Bill Howard; sister, Mildred Rainwater. He is survived by his beloved companion, Fran Laing; sons, Jeff Howard(Jodie) of Stockbridge, Tracy Howard(Kim) of Stockbridge, Scott Howard(Cynthia) of Locust Grove, Tony Johnson(Kellie) of Ft. Payne, AL., and Tim Johnson of Locust Grove; sisters, Dorothy Wheeler(Carlton) of Norcross and Barbara Cozart(Ray) of Tyrone; 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
