Joe Pate Wimberly, Jr., of Forest Park, passed away on June 29, 2015. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1:00pm. Dr. Rick Long will be officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be accepting friends on Thursday evening from 5-8pm. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca Wimberly; stepson, Tommy Smith(Trudy) of Forest Park; brother, Lawton Wimberly(Sandra) of Stockbridge; step grandson, Scott Smith(Tanya) of Ellenwood; step great granddaughter, Victoria Smith; nephews, Todd & Brad Wimberly.
