Eugene E. Overby

Eugene E. Overby, of Forest Park, passed away on January 8, 2015. Mr. Overby worked for General Motors for 30 years and enjoyed many years of coaching little league baseball. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00pm. Pastor Tom Allen will be officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be accepting friends on Saturday evening from 5-8 pm. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Audrey Overby; daughters, Teresa Turner(Billy) of Jonesboro, Regina Gilbert of Tallulah Gorge; sons, Gene Overby(Jane) of Greenville, Steve Overby(Susan) of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
