Bessie Scott Burgess

Mrs. Bessie Burgess, 90, of McDonough, passed away on October 22, 2014. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 am. Rev. Mark Medlen will be officiating. Interment to follow at the family cemetery in Roswell, Ga. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-8 pm. She is preceded in death by her son, Chris Burgess. She is survived by her husband, Dan Burgess; daughter, Bonnie Gentry (Doyle) of Douglasville; sons, Tony Johnson (Cathy) of Jonesboro and David Burgess (Tracy) of Senoia; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
