Russell Harold Mitchell

Russell Mitchell, born March 10, 1917 in his home place of Morrow, Ga., passed away on May 23, 2014 at the age of 97. He is survived by his six daughters; Delane Thomas of Morrow, Ga., Phyllis Cosby and husband Bill of Rocky Face, GA., Sharon Cox of Rocky Face, GA., Deborah Mitchell of Anchorage, AK., Becky Griffin and husband Mike of Morrow, Ga., Rhonda Towe and husband Don of Morrow, GA.; one sister, Mildred Kirkland of Darien, GA., twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Morrow First United Methodist Church on June 1, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be at the church from 1:30-3:00 prior to service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Morrow First United Methodist Church.
