Mary B. Hurst

Mrs. Mary B. Hurst, 90, of Forest Park, passed away on April 3, 2014. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Park. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 11:00 am. Dr. Reed Crumbliss will be officiating. Interment will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Durham, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 pm.Mrs. Hurst was preceded in death by her son, Winston Hurst. She is survived by her husband, Winston L. Hurst of Forest Park; daughter, Julia Meason of Flowery Branch; sons, Marty Hurst (Janet) of McDonough and Roger Hurst of Forest Park; brothers, Elmer Bumpass (Hilda), Charlie, Bumpass (Joyce), and Jesse Bumpass (Geraldine); grandchildren, Angela Bower and Alea Hurst; great grandchildren, Lauren Bower and Christopher Bower.Due to the interment being out of state the family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Forest Park-General Fund.
