Erin "Pat" Jones Vaughan

Erin Jones "Pat" Vaughan, 96, of Morrow, GA passed away on March 20, 2014 at 1:50 am. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Vaughan, a prominent builder. She was born on December 20, 1917 to the late Grady L. and Essie Jones of Geneva, AL.She owned and operated Styles of T'Morrow, Morrow, GA., for many years in the late sixties. As a charter member of New Testament Baptist Church, Ellenwood, GA, she was always very active in church and Sunday school. She is preceded in death by her brother, Fred Jones of Geneva, AL and sister, Ora Lee Coe of Columbus. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Gale and Dwight Ginn of Lake City and LaWanda and Willie Oswalt of Lake City; sons, Warren Vaughn of College Park and Stephen Vaughan of Atlanta; brothers Capas Jones of Tampa, FL, Rethal Jones of Niceville, FL; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildrenShe lived a long, full life and traveled extensively. She was proficient at everything she did and always put others first. Her family was very important to her and spending time with them was her utmost priorty. She will be missed by all.A funeral service to honor the life of Erin J. "Pat" Vaughan will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 am. Dr. Curtis Turner will be officiating. Interment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-8 pm.
