CLYDE NOVEN HALL – 95 – OF FOREST PARK, PASSED AWAY JANUARY 23, 2014. CLYDE WAS BORN JULY 23, 1918 IN CLYDE NOVEN HALL – 95 – OF FOREST PARK, PASSED AWAY JANUARY 23, 2014. CLYDE WAS BORN JULY 23, 1918 IN OGLETHORPE COUNTY GEORGIA, TO CHARLIE D HALL AND ARTHA DIXON HALL. HE WAS RAISED IN PORTERDALE ,GEORGIA. HE JOINED THE UNITED STATES NAVY OCTOBER 27, 1941 AND WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED IN 1947.HE RETIRED AS A REFRIGERATION SPECIALIST AFTER MANY YEARS. HE WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS WIFE OF 49 YEARS, VIRGINIA C HALL. THEY RESIDED IN FOREST PARK,GA.CLYDE HAD ALSO LOST HIS BROTHERS, CLARENCE HALL AND J B HALL AND HIS SISTERS, HAZEL HALL DIAL AND LILLIE MAE HALL MARTIN. HE IS SURVIVED BY, NELLIE HALL- SISTER IN LAW OF PORTERDALE, NEPHEWS,LARRY WILSON, TIM HALL,STEVE HALL, BOBBY JOE DIAL AND MARK DIAL AND NEICES,RITA HALL THOMAS,SANDRA HALL,AND KYLE BOWEN. CLYDE WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF ASH STREET BAPTIST CHURCH WHICH HE JOINED IN 1964. HE WAS ORDAINED A DEACON IN 1968. CLYDE LOVED TO TRAVEL WITH VIRGINIA AND TOGETHER THEY VISITED MOST OF THE UNITED STATES. HE ALSO LOVED TO HUNT AND FISH . HE SPENT MANY HAPPY HAPPY HOURS IN HIS LATER YEARS FISHING OFF THE BEACH AT CAPE SAN BLAS, FLORIDA. HE WAS AN AVID SENIOR WALKER AT SOUTHLAKE MALL AND MADE MANY FRIENDS THERE. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE SATURDAY, JANUARY 25, 2014 AT 1 PM WITH VISITATION BEGINNING AT 11AM AT THOMAS L SCROGGS FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 6362 S.LEE ST., FOREST PARK. INTERMENT TO FOLLOW AT FOREST HILLS MEMORIAL GARDENS. Under the wide and starry sky Dig the grave and let me lie: Glad did I live and gladly die, And I laid me down with a will.
