William Byron "Bill" Lewis, Jr.

William Byron "Bill" Lewis, Jr., 83, went to be with our Lord on December 27, 2013. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Newton Lewis; daughter, Pam (Richard) Tucker; sons, Bill (Kelly) Lewis, and Chuck (Laura) Lewis; grandchildren, Cathy (Robby) Holbrook, Ginny Tucker, Will, Ryan, and Gabriel Lewis; great grandchildren, Georgia Holbrook and her baby sister who is on the way; sister, Barbara (Clark) Harkins; brothers, Gerald (Sybil) Lewis, Bob (Delores) Lewis; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Salem Baptist Church on Hwy 155, McDonough, on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 am. Rev. Dan McKay and Rev. Phil Gilbert to officiate. Interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5-8 pm.
