Marianne Slaton, of Morrow, passed away on September 30, 2013. Services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Reynolds, Ga., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Rev.Mark Poole and Rev.Sidney Jones to officiate. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. The family will be accepting friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 pm. She is survived by her husband Virlyn Slaton; sons, John and Jason Slaton, all of Morrow; sister, Sally Potts of Macon; numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas L.
