Mildred Edmondson

Mildred Stevens Edmondson, 89, of St. Augustine, FL passed peacefully into the hands of God on April 18, 2013. She was the widow of Earl Jackson Edmondson Jr. and is survived by 4 children, Earlene Gardner, Marsha Cain, Earl Edmondson, and Cindy Stang and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mildred was a graduate of Girls high school in Atlanta, GA. She generously volunteered her time to the Memorial Hospital of Flagler Auxiliary, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and in her earlier years as a Girl Scout Leader. Mildred loved to play cards, scrabble, and mahjong. She was a fantastic homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Mildred will live on in the love and values she gave so selflessly. The world has lost a remarkable, irreplaceable woman. She will be deeply missed by many. The funeral will be held in the chapel,Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 11:00 am at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors. Visitation prior to service 10:00 am - 11:00 am.
