William "Glynn" Wallace, Sr.

William "Glynn" Wallace, Sr., of McDonough, passed away at Sacred Journey Hospice on February 8, 2013. Mr. Wallace was a resident of Lake City for 50 years. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Rev. John Martin to officiate. The family will be accepting friends Monday evening from 5pm-8pm.. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Doris Wallace; his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters. Survivors include his daughters, Glenda Wilson and David of Concord, Teresa Wallace of Griffin, Barbara West of McDonough; William Wallace, Jr and Pattie of Newnan, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Dr., McDonough, Ga 30253.
