Mrs. Allene Brooks of Canton passed away January 5, 2013. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Forest Park Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors. Allene was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Brooks, Sr. and is survived by her sons, Glenn E. Brooks, Jr. (Judy), Canton, Joe Brooks (Bonnie), Winder and Jim Brooks (Lynn), Point Richmond, CA.; grandchildren, Jeff and David Brooks, Jim, Mike and Kelly Brooks, Kris and Justin Brooks, 13 great grandchildren.
