Joe Glenn Carter

Joe Glenn Carter, 74, of Morrow, passed away from cancer on October 27, 2012. Joe was a Navy Veteran and retired from the trucking industry after 32 years. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Beatrice and Samuel Carter and brother Jesse Thomas. He is survived by his spouse, Juanita Carter and his two children, Jeremy Carter (Michelle) and Rebecca Carter Ferunden (Michael); sisters Faye Goodman Phillips, Marjorie Gound (Joe); grandchildren Daniel Carter, Matthew Carter, and Carter Ferunden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to “Mission Forest Park” in care of First Baptist Church of Forest Park, 634 Main St., Forest Park, GA 30297. Viewing will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, and on Wednesday from 11 to 12 with a graveside service to follow @ Forest Hills Cemetery at 1:00 pm, Conley GA.
