Gary Tyrone Goodman

Gary Tyrone Goodman, 58, of Lake City, passed away on October 20, 2012. Gary was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Forest Park where he led the food and clothing ministry, Mission Forest Park, for approximately 8 years. He also taught the Koinonia adult Sunday school class. Thirty years ago, he started his own landscaping business, Pro Trim Landscaping and Maintenance Company. A Celebration of Life service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Forest Park on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00pm. He will lie in state at 1:00pm. Dr. Reed Crumbliss to officiate. The family will be accepting friends at the church Monday from 4-7pm. Preceded in death by his father, Raymond H. Goodman, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Langley Goodman; mother, Faye C. Goodman Phillips; sons, Gary Tyrone (Ty) Goodman, Jr. (Mandy), Joshua L. Goodman (Lauren), J. Stacey Welch (Micki); daughter, Farrah A. Willoughby (Lee); brother, Raymond H. Goodman, Jr.(Rita); sisters, Diana G. McDaniel(Roger), Rhonda G. Holbrook (Ron), Crystal G. Adams (Lanny); grandchildren, Tyler and Madison Goodman, Jesse, Emma, Chloe, Dinah, and Whitney Welch, and Banks Willoughby; Aunts and Uncles, numerous nieces and nephews.
