Mary Ruth Thomas, of Morrow, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012. A service will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11am. Bishop Johnny Bishop to officiate. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Visitation Wednesday from 5-8pm. Survivors include her husband Jim Thomas; sons, Richard Thomas of Morrow, Mike Thomas(Carla) of Stockbridge, and Raymond Patterson(Beverly) of Evans; sister, Patricia Huffstetler of Prosperity, SC; grandchildren, Kevin Patterson, Melissa McGinnis, Lindsey Thomas, and Matthew Thomas; great grandchildren, Hayden Patterson, Will McGinnis, Carter McGinnis, and Samuel McGinnis; several nieces and nephews.
