Kathryn Wingard

Kathryn Luckie Wingard, age 93, a resident of Morrow, GA, died on January 28, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn R. Wingard and her brothers, Pat Luckie and Sam Luckie. Survivors include her sister, Mary Alice Parker of Montgomery, AL, brother, George Luckie of Montgomery, AL; sons, Joe Wingard of Morrow, Sam Wingard of Hodgenville, KY, and Dennis Wingard of Atlanta, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Huntingdon College, A Navy veteran, and an elementary school teacher for many years until her retirement. Services will be held at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, at 11am on Thursday, February 2, 2012. Interment to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Forest Home, AL., at 5pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jones Memorial Untied Methodist Church, 5320 Phillips Drive, Morrow, Ga. 30260. Visitation Wednesday evening from 6-8pm. Thomas L.
